James Trougakos

Areas of Practice

James’ practice focuses on personal and corporate tax planning. James routinely assists clients with corporate reorganizations, business succession planning, tax structuring on the acquisition and sale of businesses, and trust and estate planning. James also assists clients with resolving tax disputes before revenue authorities and voluntary disclosures.

Prior to joining Legacy Tax + Trust Lawyers, James practiced in the Montréal office of a national law firm and served as a judicial law clerk at the Tax Court of Canada. James has completed the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Course.

James also serves as a Director of the Hellenic Canadian Lawyers’ Association.
