James P. Shumka

James is one of the founding Principals of Legacy and advises individuals with respect to varied tax matters including business succession planning, estate planning, utilization of trusts, immigration and emigration and the optimal structures for holding their business and investment interests.  James assists corporate clients with respect to establishing operations in Canada or internationally, corporate reorganizations, business purchase and sale and tax efficient corporate structures. James also provides advice with respect to charitable and private foundation tax planning and obtaining charitable registration.
